Being locating among the hills surroundings it had a glamorous look and an extra kind of
affinity to attract the tourists all over the India and world. As per its local description, it

Since after some time when Allupi was impregnated and her father as well as Arjuna had gone from here in order to hide themselves from the Kourvas then Allupi gave birth to a child came to known as Babbarwan. When soon after of completion of their exile Arjuna performed the "ASHAVMEV YAGA" and left a horse for its commemoration then Babbarwan in the way at his kingdom caught the horse due to which a fierce battle was held up among both of them in which Babbarwan beheaded the Arjuna and offered to his mother Allupi who discriminated and advised him to alive him once again by bringing the "MANI" from the Nag Lok who were residing in the PATAAL PURI. In order to get the "MANI" Babbarwan entered into the earth from Sruinsar which was originally named as Srumbsar means from this point he entered into the earth and did fierce a battle with the army of nags and attained the "MANI" from their possession. After attaining the "MANI" he existed out of the earth here called Manisar which is known now- a- days Mansar Lake. So during this two incidents at entrance and existence there formed twin lakes called Surinsar & mansar which had turned up into two significant tourism spots of present days. And when the Shesnag came to know about this he emerged out of the earth at Mansar but it turned up into the stone statue owing to the last stage of the SATYUGA as there in the KALYUGA the Hindu gods are venerated among the stone statues, this is the rite of KALYUG era which is going to be performed by the Hindu community in the present civilization.
