Reasi, Feb 7: Director School Education, Jammu, Simrandeep Singh reviewed the functioning of the department in Reasi district during his day long tour on Saturday.
During the tour, the Director convened meeting of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), Zonal Education and Planning Officers of the district
While addressing the officers, Singh laid stress that teachers should keep themselves updated in the latest technology and teach the children of poor people as their own offspring.
He also advised the teachers to pen down the difficulties of the areas and acquaints themselves with day-to-day knowledge by reading newspapers, listening radio and television. He also stressed the teachers to work for enlightening the society.
Meanwhile, a deputation of teachers also met the Director and apprised him about their difficulties. The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to sort out their genuine grievances. |
