Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 18: All Jammu and Kashmir Youth Society (AJKYS) sought to restore internet services fully in Kashmir. However mobile Internet services snapped in the valley from the mid night of 8th July, has not yet been restored. This has caused inconvenience to many. The president Yousuf said, as Government has already announced 10th and 12th exams in the valley, students are facing problems in preparing for the same. They are unable to get online study materials due to Internet gag. He said he has received many calls from Kashmir students studying outside the valley, saying their parents were unable to send them money through e-banking. Others said their parents were too old to stand in the queue. Sajid Yousuf further said while Government is talking about Digital India, Internet remains suspended in valley from last 4 months. Hence it is a request to state as well as central government to lift Internet ban in the valley without further delay. |
