People ridicule separatists claim of moral victory | 'They burnt Kashmir to appease Pak, ISI' | | Early Times Report jammu, Nov 18: As Kashmir unrest has fizzled out and people are openly defying the protest calendar, separatists are trying to save their faces by issuing statements like that they have achieved moral victory and they have won. People are ridiculing the statements of separatists and are asking them to explain what they (people) have achieved by observing shutdown for more than four months. "Azadi has turned out to be a mere illusion and balloon stands punctured. We have suffered losses in crores, vehicles have been damaged, students have not attended the schools. Private companies have winded up their operations and the people are at the verge of starvation. Despite making people suffer for four months separatists are claiming that they have achieved moral victory. What a joke!," said an analyst. He said, "These separatists were able to take people hostage due to their henchmen creating havoc in Kashmir streets by orchestrating stone-pelting and arson. Police and other security agencies worked day in and out to identify the miscreants and detain them to control the stone-pelting and arson in Kashmir." "Separatists, who at the behest of Pakistan and ISI, burnt Kashmir during the peak season know it very well that they have lost the plot. Winters setting in early this year is making the separatists feel the chill as they may be planning to move towards plains to avoid harsh winters in the Valley," he added. A Kashmir watcher said, "Separatists owe an explanation to the people of Kashmir and they cannot get away with it. Last four months have proved that separatists are not the well wishers of Kashmiris neither do they represent anyone. They are bunch of irrelevant people, who got a chance after six years to call the shots and establish their writ as dons of Kashmir. They have proved that they (separatists) run a Mafia funded by Pakistan and ISI. They separatists lured youth by showing them Rs 500/ and Rs 1000/ and pushed them towards graveyards. After using them as canon-fodder they shed crocodile tears over their graves." A politician said, "People have realized that separatists can go to any extent to run their shops and for them common Kashmiri is just like an object who stands nowhere. This unrest has made it amply clear that Pakistan has turned Kashmir into a battleground and is bleeding India in Kashmir to avenge the fall of Bangladesh and the three conventional wars which they lost to India." He said, "People resuming their daily chores without bothering about the consequences has given a befitting reply to the separatists and the so-called civil society which has turned into yes men of separatists." |
