Mendhar, Nov 18: Press Council of Mendhar Poonch, chairman Rameez Raja Sustani chaired a meeting over the hurdles that are facing by journalists during performing their professional duties in the Pir Panjal region especially in the frontier Mendhar tehsil.
Pointing out towards the misfortune incident ,that was done by a Political NC leader, and MLA, of this constituency's escort gypsy driver, who allegedly attempted to kill a journalist.
Nazki, he said, "It was very unfortunate in the history of journalism."
Saying him (Nazki) an angel of this tehsil and the hero of Jammu division , said," He is born for the help of those poor person who can't have courage to express their regrets and pains to anyone "
Anguishing about the security of journalists, he said,"Today the time has mirrored up that truth is not being digested by some people who have a deep political influence including leaders, trying to put the journalist's tongue and pen power into silent mode." |
