Another school gutted in north Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 18: A government school was set on fire by miscreants in north Kashmir district of Kupwara while another educational institute was ransacked in city outskirts. Over 30 educational institutes have been gutted in mysterious fire incident in Kashmir valley since July 9, a day after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani and two other militants were killed in an encounter in Anantnag. Official sources said miscreants set ablaze Government Primary School (GPS) Rigipora in Kupwara. Fire tenders from different parts of the district were rushed to douse off the leaping fire, clearly visible from a distance. However, before the fire was doused off one block of the school building was damaged. Meanwhile, miscreants ransacked Government Boys High School Rawalpora in City outskirts. Police have registered cases in both the incidents and initiated investigation to nab the culprits responsible for the crimes. |
