Delegation of Pvt Schools' owners calls on DSE Ms Rakwal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 18: The Executive committee of central body of Private Schools' representatives today met the Director School Education Jammu Babila Rakwal (KAS) and apprised her about the genuine problems being faced by the Private Schools. Speaking in this meeting, Kamal Gupta President J&K PSA said that the government of Jammu & Kashmir has taken the initiative to amend SRO 123 to streamline the recognition process but most of the schools functioning up to class 8th are still deprived of such benefit as recognition of most of the schools functioning up to class 8th are pending since March 2010. Taking up demands to DSE Jammu Ms Rakwal, the speakers demanded immediate disposal of the all pending files of Private schools as per the criteria fixed for granting permission / affiliation /recognition of private schools vide government order no 385 -Edu of 2016 dtd 05/10/2016, issuance of copy of circular or order whether or not all Private unaided schools fall under the ambit of RTI act 2009. Ajay Gupta General secretary cum state coordinator PSA J&K demanded that immediate instructions should be given to all CEO's/ Dy. CEO's/ZEO's of winter zone of Jammu Province to adhere to the circular no. 538 DSE-J of 2015 Dtd 03/10/15 based on the fixed parameters for confirmation / countersignature of result of Private schools as CEO Ramban is superseding this circular by issuing new circular CEO/R/16/ 22059-22140 dt 05 /11/16 reason best known to him. Director School Education gave a patient hearing and assured the members for the early disposal of their genuine problems.
