JAMMU, June 29: Despite being transferred by the office of Chief Engineer Jal Shakti (PHE) Department, Jammu around six months ago, the office of Executive Engineer Ramban Division continue to retain an influential Junior Engineer (JE).
The JE is not being relieved, who in fact, has been overstaying at one place since over a decade, said sources.

Leh, June 29: Thirty coronavirus infected patients were discharged on Monday after they were declared cured in Ladakh, bringing down the number of active cases in the Union Territory to 347, officials said. SRINAGAR, June 29: In a major concern, the drug abuse is on the rise in Kashmir. A doctor at SMHS Hospital said that a lot of patients who are being treated at its Drug-De-Addiction Centre had consumed drugs available on drug centres.
In an effort to curb drug abuse, the government has banned opening of new drug stores and directed the officials for regulation of existing ones in Kashmir.
