| VOK Produces challan against then JE R&B, SSD URI | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 15 : Vigilance Organisation produced the challan in case FIR No 28/2012 P/S VOK u/s 5(2) P.C Act r/w 161 RPC against Abdul Rahim Hajam then JE, R&B, Special Sub Division (SSD) Uri before the Court of Addl. District and Sessions Judge Baramulla after receiving sanction for Prosecution from the competent authority.
According to a statement issued by Vigilance Department, the accused then posted as JE, R&B, Special Sub Division Uri in the year 2012 was caught red handed while demanding and accepting an amount of Rs.5000/- as illegal gratification from the complainant Shri Mohammad Maqbool Mir resident of Pehlipora Baramulla for the processing of bill on account of work executed by him. After completing investigation, Vigilance Organisation presented chargesheet before the competent court on 14.07.2014. |
