Kishtwar, Aug 17: Since the beginning of annual Machail Yatra from 1st of this month, 36155 pilgrims including 17416 males, 12685 females, 6021 children and 33 Sadhu, s offered darshan at Mata Chandi temple in Machail.
As per the details available with "Early Times", 2124 pilgrims visited the temple today Male 1255, Female 826 and Children 43. While in first 15 days, 34031 including Male 16161, Females 11859, Children 5978 and Sadhu 33 visited the temple situated at the height of approximately 14000 feet above sea level and 32 KM foot journey from nearest road point Gulabgard in Padder Tehsil of Kishtwar District. The rush of the pilgrims will start increasing after Charri Mubarak will reach at Kishtwar from Bhaderwah on next Monday. Over 1.50 lac pilgrims are expected to visit the temple at the end of the Yatra.
