SKUAST- TAJ demands immediate regularisation of ReZs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 17: Extending full moral support to Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA), President of the Teaching Association SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. Vikas Sharma demanded immediate absorption of all ReZs as Village Agricultural Extension Assistants (VAEA) in the Agricultural Production Department of State Government. "These Agricultural Technocrats possess higher qualification like MSc (Ag), Ph.D (Ag) etc and while serving to the State Government on merely stipendiary basis from the last seven years (since 2007) they have already suffered a lot, so, there should be no more queries and State Government should issue order by immediately releasing list of regularized candidates as done by Director, Agriculture Production Department of Kashmir Division", stressed SKUAST-TAJ President Dr. Vikas Sharma "The State Government vide Order No. 305 Agri of 1984 dated 25.05.1984 introduced ReZ scheme for the very first time in the State Agriculture Production Department under which all Agricultural Technocrats were engaged as ReZ on a monthly salary of Rs.400 and their services were regularized as JAAs within a period of 4 months", said TAJ president Dr. Vikas Sharma. Dr. Sharma further pointed out that 7 years have passed when vide cabinet Decision No. 348/14 dated 23.10.2006 and vide order No. 20 Agri of 2007 dated 06.02.2007 all Agricultural Technocrats who were unemployed as on October 2006 were engaged under the ReZ scheme at a monthly stipend of Rs.1500, but till date State Govt. is silent regarding regularization of their services as VAEA. |
