Kathua, Aug 17: A deputation of Kathua Vikas Manch (KVM) today called on Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (MOS) in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions, Science and Technology (I/C),Earth Science (I/C), Atomic Energy and Space, Technology Bhavan New Mohali Road, New Delhi-110016 at Mehta Palace. The office bearers and members of KVM led by Prof. Ram Murti Sharma, President of the Manch raised demands regarding establishment of already sanctioned Inter State Bus Stand (ISBS) at the already selected land near District Hospital sanctioned vide Notification No.:29/MVD/P of 2011 dated 29-11-2011 of J&K State Transport Authority for which MLA Kathua has sought funds under UIDSSMT Scheme of Govt. of India vide letter No.: MLA/KTH/2013-14/1531-34 dated 20-09-2013 and DC Kathua has also approached Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu for authentication of revenue papers and indent vide letter No. DCK/LHS/2013/513-17 dated 17-09-2013; Construction of bridge over river UJH near Forlain-Bakhta for connecting Dinga Amb, Pranjali, Magloor with Ghati, Nannan, Budhi, Barwal; Construction of flyover from Maggar Khad to Sahar Khad on National Highway-A1 with proper connectivity, round abouts, High Mast Lights and crossings near Hatli Morh besides other demands. The members of the Manch exhorted upon the minister to redress the demands of Setting up of already sanctioned Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kathua, sanctioned vide No: F-1 29(1)2003-KVS (Adm-1) dated 22-02-2003 for which all the requisite formalities including Transfer of Land and Lease Deed stand fulfilled; Equipping Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MCC) situated in the heart of densely populated city sanctioned vide Govt. Order No: 134-HME of 2004 dated 19-02-2004 with Surgical, Maternity & Childcare Facilities for which the drawing and DPR'S had been finalized in January 2014 by J&K Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) among other issues. Dr. Jitendra Singh after giving a patient hearing to the deputation assured KVM for achieving the time bound progress in meeting the long pending genuine demands of Kathua. |
