HC stays transfer order from one Deptt to other without authority 10/15/2014 10:43:45 PM Jammu, Oct 15: In a case in which Block Development Officer Khour had transferred the petitioner Suraj Singh who is employee of the RDD to the SDM office, Petitioner challenged the same as he was working in RDD and cannot be transferred to some other department. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Arshad Majid Malik appearing for the petitioner who submitted that transferring the petitioner in the office of SDM Khour amounting to transferring the petitioner to some other department i.e. revenue, observed that impugned order NO BDO/Kh/2014-15/2611-14 dated October 8, 2014 issued by BDO does not show as under whose authority or order he has relived the petitioner from his office and directed him to report to the office of SDM and issued notice returnable within four weeks, subject to objections from other side the impugned order shall stayed.
