Environment awareness campaign organized 10/15/2014 11:44:02 PM Early Times Report DODA, Oct 15: To create awareness among the people living in far flung and hilly areas particularly student community about the importance of forests for survival, a programme was organized under National Environment Awareness Campaign on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation" at Government UPS Phalshore Zone Gundna. Sadhu Ram Sarpanch was the chief guest while Satish Kumar Zonal CO was the guest of honour. Sadhu Ram Sarpanch delivered lecture on NEAC and Paryavaran Mitra programme. He was speaking that WWF is the Knowledge Partner with Ministry of Environment and Forest. During the programme a rally of students was flagged off by Satish Kumar who impressed upon the people of the region to conserve forests for maintaining ecological balance and green cover of the area.
