Kishtwar, Nov 18: In order reach out the people of far flung areas of Kishtwar constituency, a team of People's Democratic Party leaders headed by Party District Coordinator Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain in a bid to woo the voters and seek their support to party conducted hectic tour of remote Paddar which concluded here today. During the visit the PDP leaders visited far flung areas of Padder tehsil in Kishtwar which included several villages including Atholi, Gulabgarh, Kijaye, Leondi, Tiyari, Ishtiyari, Sohal, Massu, Gharr and Hamidraan. According party spokesperson from Kishtwar, the PDP leaders besides carrying 'door to door' campaign also addressed public meetings at various places. Addressing the gathering on various occasions, People Democratic Party leader Sheikh Nasir Hussain said that People's Democratic Party (PDP) only can ensure equal and overall development of all the regions of the state. He appealed the people to vote for PDP candidate in coming Assembly elections. He assured the people if party is voted to power, due focus will be given to the far flung areas. Describing Padder as beautiful tourist destination, Sheikh Nasir alleged that the present government has ignored these beautiful tourist spots which have a vast potential to attract tourists, domestic as well as international. He also highlighted leadership qualities of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti and said that people of Jammu and Kashmir are looking towards PDP with high hopes. Sheikh Nasir was accompanied by Senior party leader and election incharge Malik Noor Hussain, Thakur Sujan Singh Chowhan, Sandesh Mahajan, Baldev Raj, Satish Kumar and Mohinder Kumar. |
