Jammu, Nov 18 (JNF): The normal work in High Court Jammu Wing as well as Subordinate Court Jammu remained affected due to Advocates suspended the work on alleged wrongfully confined of Advocate at Kathua. In a meeting of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, held in the High Court Complex, the members unanimously condemned the illegal action of the Additional District Magistrate, Kathua when a senior member of the Kathua Bar Association, Arvind Kumar Gupta was wrongfully confined for more than 2 hours on instructions of the Additional District Magistrate. The members condemned the act and remained suspended the works thus the normal functioning at all the Courts of Jammu including the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu remained suspended as a mark of protest against the high handedness of the Magistrate. The Association has also extended its full support to the Kathua Bar Association. |
