CPMFWA seeks justice for marginalized CPMF soldiers | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 18 : All J&K Central Para Military Force Welfare Association (CPMFWA) appealed Prime Minister Narender Modi to provide justice to the marginalized CPMF soldiers on the basis of equal duties equal wages. According to press release a, meeting was held a meeting at Kathua (J&K) under the chairmanship of its General Secretary Darshan Kumar to chalk out a strategy in view of the ensuing Assembly election in J&K State. Amarjit Singh Sidhu, Vice president of all India CPMF's retired personnel Association was the chief guest Surinder Singh. Speaking on the occasion General Secretary Darshan Kumar and S. Netar Singh (J&K) highlighted some lackadaisical problems being faced by the retirees at length. The speakers apparently appealed Prime Minister Narinder Modi to provide justice to the marginalized CPMF Soldiers on the basis of equal duties equal wages. The Reiterated their old Pending demanding one rank one pension, martyrs status to the CPMF soldiers, who were killed in action, removal of anomaly in pension structure of pre 2006 retirees, implementation of ex-servicemen status in letter and spirit, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 2,000, ECHS medical facility instead of CGHS, separate pay commission or a separate chapter in 7th Pay Commission report for CPMFs and unconditional promotion to the CPMFs personnel after every 8 years interval. They blamed the ousted Government for its dilly delaying tactics toward the issues of CPMFs. All the participants pledged and decided in one voice to vote and support to the BJP Candidate in battle of Ballots in current assembly polls in J&K and in this regard issued directions to their cadres all over the J&K state. They also expressed their satisfaction and hope that the ruling party's MP's and MLA's would be proved as a bridge between the two parties (CPMF's and Central Govt) for early redressal of their problems. |
