| PRP will make State corruption free, work for new era of peace: Kaw | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 18: Maintaining that newly formed J&K Peoples Republican Party (PRP) will strive for bringing a new era of peace and prosperity and put the corruption free system in place, its leader and Party candidate from Wachi Assembly segment Kulbushan Kaw said Party will make state free of corruption and corrupt elements.
Talking to reporters here today he said the Party has fielded 14 candidates in Kashmir Valley to contest the Assembly poll and its main objective is to change the electoral politics of the State by bringing in fresh ideas and acumen to end the political blackmail being unleashed by the stagnant political system.
He made a fervent appeal to the people to vote PRP candidates during the elections to rid the system from the misrule of coalition. Kaw also appealed the displaced people from the Valley to fully back the Party which is committed to provide a transparent and accountable system in place at all levels of governance. He said the party will promote and strengthen pluralism and diversity in the State.
Besides PRP will make State free from corruption, make the system transparent and accountable, give a people friendly Government, work for rehabilitation of orphans, widows and deprived, initiate measures for rehabilitation of flood victims, set up a new economic order and also probe the scams of last two decades, he added.
Kaw also appealed the migrant voters from Ganderbal and Devsar Assembly segments which is going to polls on November 25 to vote for Party candidates Mir GhulamRasoolButwani and Mir Mudasser respectively.
Kaw said that PRP has unstinted commitment to the passage of Temples and Shrines Bill at an earliest, minority status for the minorities of the State, restoration of encroached land and property of KPs and justice to all.
He said PRP has envisaged a comprehensive and holistic roadmap for the displaced community of KPs by constructing a dedicated smart city for KPs in the Valley.
Kaw said the PRP will also bring a viable economic package for displaced Pandits, support the minority status for Hindus, Christians and Sikhs and work for implementation of employment package in letter and spirit besides advocate for one time compensation for overaged youth. |
