Jammu, Feb 16:- A Massive delegation of ASHA Workers Union Jammu met Director Health & Family Welfare Jammu and handed over two memorandums of demands, one for further submission to J P Nadda, Union Minister For Health & Family Welfare and second to Director, NR
Among the demands highlighted by the workers were ASHA workers be regularized as Health Workers, paid minimum wages of Rs. 15ooo per month, social security benefits like pension, gratuity, maternity benefits be given to ASHA workers, ASHA workers be covered be under Aam Admi Bima Yojna, All Incentive be paid in time and on a regular basis, rest rooms, ID cards, Uniforms, and bus passes among other demands. The deputation members were Sham Prasad Kesar, senior leader of CITU, Om Prakash, Sunita Bhagat ,Kanta Devi, Vimla Devi , Reeta, Usha, Anita Kumari and others. |
