Kishtwar, Feb 16: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) District Kishtwar was held under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari. In the meeting, non disbursement of free ration to the public of Kishtwar was discussed.
Union Chairman Joginder Bhandari, while addressing the meeting urged upon the worthy deputy commissioner Kishtwar to issue directions to the Assistant Director, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution department Kishtwar to issue free ration to the public of Kishtwar.
He said that the public of remote and far flung areas of the district have not been supplied balance free ration of three months as a result of which the people have been forced to purchase ration from the market which every person cannot afford which has caused a brewing resentment among the public.
Those who attended the meeting included Bashir Khan, Mohd Amin Butt, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Gh. Hussain Gannie, Javed Malipath, Akhter Hussain Sheikh, Sardar Satpal Singh, Asgar Ali, Irshad Ahmed and others. |
