| Adbi Kunj organizes special literary meet on R-Day, Voters Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 29: On the occasion of 6th National Voters Day and 67th Republic Day, the Adbi Kunj Jammu organized a special literary and social get together at its literary centre in the premises of Zee Pre Kidzee School, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The meet-cum-function was presided over by a well known Gujri poet, writer and critic Choudhary Mohamad Adris Shad from Srinagar while prominent literary and musical personality Dogra Dr. Harish Kela President Nami Dogri Sanstha was the chief guest of the meet.
Adbi Kunj Jammu offered felicitations to the people of the state on the occasion of these historical events.
During his welcome address, Sham Talib president of the organization threw light on the importance of these important events.
Sham Talib along with Chairman Aarash Om Dalmotra, Ashraf Shaida Banihali, General Secretary Adbi Kunj Jammu also highlight the theme of the 6th National Voters day. The meet also pay homage to martyrs of the country whose efforts and scarifies had resulted in the independence of the country which subsequently become Republic on 26th January 1950.
In the meet a prose writing "Youme-Jamhouria-Aur-Hum (Urdu) read out by Sham Talib, another write up Voter Day-Ki-Ahmiyat by Aarash Om Dalmotra were presented.
A composite mushaira was also held in which poets recited their poems and songs highlighting the significance of these days. |
