Harish Chander Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29: In what can be construed as a 'disproportionate assets case', a senior state cadre IPS officer is alleged to have purchased a flat worth Rs 94 lakhs in a posh Noida area. The top police officer has purchased the flat in his own name, according to police sources. "This is his second flat in Noida. The first one was purchased by him some time back. His third flat is in a posh area close to the Yamuna Expressway," sources informed. Sources said the price of his old flat in Noida and that of the one near Yamuna Expressway is over Rs 1 crore. He is at present holding an important position in the state police. "He has applied for central deputation but is yet to get a green signal from New Delhi. He is planning to stay at New Noida flat after his deputation to the Centre," sources claimed. From where he had managed so much of money in a year was not known, the sources added. |
