Jammu, Jan 29: The two days workshop on Communication Skills and Personality Development successfully concluded today at G.G.M. Science College, Jammu. In the second day there were four interactive sessions. Dr. Garima Gupta from the Department of English, University of Jammu was the resource person in the first session. She delivered her talk on Strategies for Effective Communication. It was followed by the observations and queries from the student participants from different colleges.
Throughout the day there were four sessions in which Prof. Shaveta Gupta, Dr. Seema Malpotra and Prof. Yasmeen Mughal acted as Resource Persons. All the sessions were followed by interactions with the participants. During the two days the students were given practical training in writing exercises, pronunciation drill and spoken English practice. The workshop concluded with a Valedictory Session in which Dr. Ashok Kumar, Senior-most faculty member and HoD Chemistry of G.G.M. Science College was the Chief Guest. |
