Udhampur, Jan 29: The members of NGO- Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organized an awareness camp at Government High School Jib to create a sense of responsibility among children towards making our surroundings clean.
The president of NGO, Tariq Shah addressed the children and motivated the children to develop moral values among themselves. ZEO Tikri , Kakaram Dogra was also present in the programme. Tariq Shah while speaking in the occasion said, "Cleanliness is our need as well as right. But we should understand that it is our duty also to keep our homes as well as surroundings neat. We can think of 'Swach Bharat' only if each and everyone adopts cleanliness as a habit. If we adopt moral values and our culture,we can achieve Swach Bharat because cleanliness is a part of our culture. Our culture is full of values. Unfortunately, todays society is showing an increased rate of crime. Hence children must be taught to adopt moral values in their lives. |
