Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29 : Biometric Attendance System inaugurated by Secretary H&ME department in Directorate General of Indian Systems of Medicine, Jammu. The Directorate of ISM also installed Biometric Attendance System in AYUSH Unit GMC Srinagar and AYUSH Unit at JLNM hospital and Govt. Unani Hospital at Srinagar. Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Director General, Indian Systems of Medicine, J&K expressed gratitude to Secretary H&ME for his continuous support for development of alternative systems of medicine in the state. An Executive Committee meeting of State AYUSH Society under National AYUSH Mission, J&K, was conducted under the chairmanship of Secretary H&ME department. A detailed power point presentation was given by State Programme Manager Misba ul Hassan on the various agenda, issues were discussed and decisions were taken for achieving the objectives of National A YUSH Mission in order to achieve all the objectives and the targets of National AYUSH Mission. Secretary laid emphasis upon the integrative approach of National Health Mission (NHM) and National AYUSH Mission (NAM) towards providing better health care services to the society at large and filling the existing gaps in health sector and also to provide choice of treatment to patients. He also emphasized that doctors and paramedical staff need to be more responsive, punctual and dedicated. |
