Kathua, Jan 30: A driver died after a truck he was driving skidded off the road and turned turtle on Jammu-Pathankot national highway in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"A truck loaded with iron rods on the way towards Srinagar skidded off the road at Dinga Amb in Hiranagar," police sources here said.
They said that the truck driver died on the spot.
"Rescue operation was launched while the body of the driver was retrieved and his identity was yet to be ascertained," police added. |
