JAMMU, Jan 30: Another senior police officer of the state IPS cadre has purchased a flat worth Rs 1 crore in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). Police sources said the officer last year purchased a flat worth Rs 1 crore in Delhi NCR. After paying the booking amount, he last year paid Rs 46 lakh to the builder, sources informed.
His wife is also a senior government official. Even if the salaries of both of them are added up, the couple won't be able to pay Rs 46 lakh in one year, sources said.
They claimed that Police officer has to make the full payment of Rs One crore to the builder in two years to get the possession of the flat. "The balance amount has to be paid by him during the current year," the sources added.
Some of his batch mates, who were posted in other states, are also said to have purchased flats in the same building, sources informed. |
