SRINAGAR, Jan 30: History of sorts was created in broadcasting here Saturday evening when popular radio voice RJ Nasir of 92.7 Big FM completed the as many as 111 hours of nonstop live broadcast in trouble-torn Kashmir. Started on 7:00 AM of the Republic Day, with a "spirit to let people know about the power of sharing internet", the marathon show has "set new standards of professionalism in Kashmir." RJ Nasir commenced the live campaign # India Shares India Cares with the spirit of letting the people know about the power of sharing internet. The campaign, a 92.7 FM initiative, aimed at bringing innovations in every field of life. During the variety of nonstop programs, the listeners got opportunity to interact with the RJ day and night, while stalwarts from various fields equally went on air to express their views on various themes. Cutting across individual and religious ideologies, the people from various walks of life appreciated the RJ for feat. A resident of Parray Pora, the 25-year-old RJ said it was possible only because of overwhelming support shown by people, particularly the valued listeners that he could achieve the target.
