Alleged wrong use of red, green beacon on cars

Poonch, Jan 30: While there is Governor Rule in J&K and the state administration is yet to come out with a list of dignitaries who can use red, green and blue beacon lights on top front of the vehicles, there are some who continue to use them.
While chief medical officer, Poonch, Dr Mumtaz Bhatti was not using red or green beacon on his vehicle, BMO, Surankote, Dr Parwaiz Ahmad was alleged to be using a green beacon light on his vehicle, according to official sources.
Ex-health minister Lal Singh was also alleged to be using red beacon on his car.
People have appealed to the deputy commissioner, Poonch, to take strict action against those who were unlawfully using red or other beacon lights on their vehicles.
