Jammu, Jan 30: UMEED - A Programme under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) through its Block Office Kalakote organized one day Bankers Workshop at Dak Banglow Kalakote.
The programme was organized with an objective to sensitize all financial institutions regarding the Bank Linkages of SHGs.
Block Programme Manager JKSRLM Kalakote, Mubashir Hassan Wani organized the programme while Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kalakote Bal Krishen Panotra presided over the occasion .
At the onset, Madan Gupta, State Project Manager highlighted the structure of the scheme. He also informed the participants that bank loan has already been provided to more than 5000 SHGs under NRLM and till date not even a single account has been classified as NPA.
DDM Nabard, District Manager JK Grameen Bank, BDO Kalakote, all Branch Heads from different Banks of Kalakote Block and community Cadre of UMEED were present on the occasion. |
