Early Times Report Ramban, Jan 30: To streamline the traffic and to put a curb upon the traffic law violations in district Ramban, the police authorities have installed two surveillance cameras one in Ramban and other in Banihal. Talking to Early Times Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Traffic Ramban, Kameshwar Puri said that the department has set up cameras to keep a check on traffic violators to avoid any type of violation in district Ramban. He further said that this initiative was taken by the traffic department to put a curb upon the traffic rules violations in district Ramban as well as other parts of the state. He added that besides these special drives too have been launched against visible offences which are the main cause for accidents viz. driving without driving license, use of mobile phone while driving, riding without crash helmet, over speeding, driving without seat belt besides other such offence in which human lives are directly involved. He further said that stern action will be taken against those who will be caught breaking traffic rules.
