Jammu, May 12: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) added yet another feather to its cap launching Wi-Fi connectivity with the speed up to 100mpbs at its campus. Prof. Pradeep K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu, laun-ched the Wi-Fi service through National Knowledge Networks (NKN) at the University's Data Centre. Dr. Manish Sharma, Nodal officer NKN & Data Centre on the launching of Wi-Fi services briefed the university administration about availability of dynamic website, which will allow scientists to update their information regarding ongoing projects & other research activities. On the occasion, Prof. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor appreciated the IT activities taken up by the Data Centre and hoped that the new facility will help students and faculty members to improve their technology skills. |
