JAMMU, Feb 13: In a major development, Jammu and Kashmir State Accountability Commission has closed the inquiry against the Minister for Finance & Ladakh Affairs regarding an allegation leveled by Yuva Shakti Mission in which, inter-alia, it was alleged that the Minister had given Smart Card contract to his son.

Jammu, Feb 13: Calling National Conference (NC) Ministers to valley to assess the situation at district headquarters, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has conveyed that he does not trust the Congress ministers.
The Government had to clamp curfew across Kashmir following Afzal Guru's hanging. The protests held at several places are reminiscent of the 2010 agitation and a desperate Omar has been trying to restore order.
