JAMMU, June 9: The skeletons have finally started to roll down from cupboard in the much publicised Raju Chopra murder case with the arrest of senior National Conference leader and former MLC Trilochan Singh Wazir and two others for allegedly hatching a conspiracy to eliminate cement tycoon, Chopra.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted to probe the blind murder of Raju Chopra, his wife, daughter and domestic help by some unknown assailants on the night of September 17, 2006, today arrested T S Wazir, his brother Ajab Singh and Raju Simbliya.
The SIT action came in the wake of a statement of one Surinder Singh alias Kala in court alleging that a group of five persons including Trilochan Singh Wazir, his brother Ajab Singh, Nagar Choudhary, Raju Simbliya and Sanjay Sharma hatched conspiracy to kill Raju Bhushan Chopra.
According to well placed sources Kala was once a close associate of former MLC and now a close aide of a cabinet minister in the coalition government.

Jammu, June 9: Three months have passed since the state government said that a team of officials had gone to Delhi to press for Major Avtar's extradition. Major Avtar Singh who is wanted in a case of murder in Srinagar was arrested by US Police for a family dispute in February.
The officials expressed hope that the team's efforts would bear fruit. However, while, the government was feeding lies to the people, a video circulated by human rights defenders showed an American top official telling his sub-ordinate that no request for Major's extradition had been received from Delhi. srinagar, June 9: Highest number of 55 fresh guests from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) arrived here this afternoon while not a single Kashmiri crossed over to the other side.
Official source said here highest number of 55 guests, including 19 women and 13 children arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu bridge on foot this afternoon.
The earlier highest number was during 2011, 21 POK guests on May 12.
They said six Kashmiris, including three women, who had gone to POK in previous buses returned to their homes today after having a stay with relatives.

srinagar, June 9: While as hailstorm lashed parts of Kashmir Valley, Doda-Batote highway remained cutoff Thursday after cloudburst swept away portion of the road last evening. Officials said that the hailstorm coupled with lightning and thunder lashed parts of the Kashmir valley including Srinagar this evening, disrupting normal life.
The storm which continued for a few minutes forced people indoors even as there were no immediate reports about damage to houses or orchards. The hailstorm was followed by rains, bringing some respite from surging mercury in the Valley.
