| Art 370 obstruction in national integrity: Rajnath | | | | AD SINGH
Jammu, June 23: The BJP President Rajnath Singh has said that Article 370 an obstruction in the National integrity and remarked that the Kashmir issue should be handled strictly by the Center and should not be allowed to set a question mark on the unity and integrity of India.
Singh was speaking at a function, attended among others by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, on the occasion of death anniversary of Bhartiya Jana Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee foundation. The session was marked with the debates on the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and the separatist forces acting behind it as a hindrance to the National integrity. The session commenced with the introductory note by Dr. Harshvardhan who after putting a light on the life of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee highlighted the cause of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, which had organized today’s function.

Srinagar, June 23: Three pilgrims died at the Amarnath cave after performing darshan of the Shiv-Lingam, police sources said. In a separate incident, two CRPF personnel were killed and four other injured in a road accident near Baltal, base camp of holy Amarnath shrine.
Meanwhile, a fresh batch of 2073 yatris left Jammu today for Baltal base camp to perform darshan at the holy cave.

Washington, June 23: US President Barack Obama's National Security Adviser James Jones will visit New Delhi as part of ongoing US "effort to further deepen and strengthen our key bilateral partnership with India.

Jammu, June 23: With mercury soaring to seasons all time high in Jammu at 44.3 degrees, massive forest fires broke out in adjoining areas reducing the jungles to ashes even as worries are looming over the agriculture sector in view of no rains and delayed monsoons.
Massive forest wealth has been reduced to ashes in a devastating fire that broke out in Bathindi – Barmini and Kalidhar- Akhnoor range of Jammu causing damage to the region’s ecology.
