Jammu, Mar 11: The Rashtriya Rifles (RR) which had achieved a major success yesterday, by busting a hideout at Russowali Nala near Saldhar (Mahore), in Mahore Tehsil of Reasi District (J&K) and recovering a huge haul of arms and ammunition, today said that the hide out probably belong to one slain terrorist Abu Muslim of Hizb-ul-Mujhadin (HM) terror outfit. Army spokesperson said that a large quantity of war like store was recovered from a hideout in upper reaches at Russowali Nala near Saldhar (Mahore), in Mahore of Reasi District. "The recoveries effected from the busted hideout wrapped in a polythene include 01 AK 47 Rifle, 01 Pistol (of Pak Origin), 02 AK Magazines with 64 Rounds of AK Ammunition, 01 Pistol Magazine and 61 Rounds of Pistol ammunition, 01 Anti Personnel Mine (of unknown origin), 3 UBGL Grenades, 02 Hand Grenades (of Chinese Origin), 93 Rounds of PIKA Ammunition, 01 Mobile Phone Instrument without SIM Card and other miscellaneous stores were buried one feet under the ground to dodge the security forces, spokesperson said . However the troops of 61 RR during a search operation with the help of a metal detector successfully busted the hide out. "As per indications received from local sources, the arms cache probably belonged to a slain terrorist by the name of Abu Muslim of HM outfit, who used to operate in this region in the year 2009, army spokesperson said further adding, " no arrests / apprehensions have been made so far, in the matter.
