Jammu, Mar 11: Jammu & Kashmir People Democratic Party (PDP) activists on Monday staged protest demonstration outside press club against the exorbitantly charge of Admission fee, monthly fee, Charges of uniform, school dairies and even school bags being provided by the private school authorities. Speaking on the occasion, PDP leaders said that the government teachers were holding Private tuitions, coaching the students privately, which has been much affected on the unemployed educated teachers to hold their coaching centers for students. Speakers said that the private schools were charging huge amount of admission fees from parents during the admission. "In-fact the school management has established their own book shops and uniforms in the schools. The schools direct the parents to purchase the books and uniforms from their School charging exorbitantly on books, uniform, bags & school dairies" they said. xThey charge 40-50 % higher than market price. The Protesters also demanded reservation up to 25% for minorities' students in private schools. They warned the state government to take action against the private school administrations, otherwise they would intensify their agitation.
