JAMMU, Mar 11: Annual chess tournament of Centre Government Employees, organised by Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee, started today at the office of National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO), here
In all, 12 such employees, who are serving with different departments, are contesting for the top honours in this two-day competition. To be decided in three rounds, the competition witnessed first round being won by Raju Bhanotra of Auditor General (AG), DS Jamwal of NSSO, Vijay Singh of Intelligence Bureau (IB), Rajinder Gupta (IIIM), Anil Kumar (AG) and Shashi Jamwal of Survey of India (SOI). Last year the title was won by Shashi Jamwal while Rajinder Gupta secured second position in the same competition. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Director General of NSSO.
