Jammu, Mar 11: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leaders have geared up their campaign in various wards to ensure participation of maximum party activists and general public in the scheduled 14 March " Secretariat Gherao" programme. According to press release Chander Prakash Ganga, Sakina Bano, Kavinder Gupta, Lalit Moza, Rajesh Gupta have completed personal visits and meetings in 44 wards of the district and would cover the remaining wards in a day or two. While addressing these meetings, the BJP leaders said that there was resentment among every section of the society against the present dispensation, which has totally failed to provide people-friendly good governance and only promoting corruption, nepotism, land grabbing, intentionally delaying delimitation and implementation of 73rd and 74th Amendments of the Indian Constitution besides turning a deaf ear to the plight of farmers, refugees, Kashmiri migrants, employees, senior citizens, women, educated unemployed youth. It is hue and cry everywhere and the government is sleeping. People have been left at the care of God. The BJP leaders appealed the people, cutting across their social, religious and political affiliations, to join the BJP's March 14 "Secretariat Gherao" programme so that a clear message is sent that the people have fed up with the dispensation and would not tolerate any more. |
