| EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 14: To make the students aware of the importance of Hindi Diwas, a Hindi Saptah was celebrated from September 10 to 14 in the premises of Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Raipur Bantalab, Jammu. The Saptah culminated with the valedictory which was held today. Speaking on the valedictory function, A.K Raina General Secretary (HESK) said that "Hindi is our national language and it has been given this status since 1949. We should realize that it is 67 years after being given the status but it has still miles to go.' In this week, Slogan writing competition, Lectures on the Hindi pronunciation and phonetics, Hindi poem recitation, Rangoli making, slogan, Hindi writing competition were the main highlights of the Hindi Saptah. On the occasion, prizes were also distributed among all the participants of the Hindi Saptah. |
