KATRA, Sept 14: Though the dust on khakhi is yet to settle in which three cops gang raped a Talwara based girl, another allegations of police nexus with the criminal surfaced when police failed to register a case of gang rape.
As per allegations leveled by the uncle of the victim girl namely Basher Ahmed son of Fazal Din, police failed to arrest the accused persons even after FIR in this connection was lodged on court's direction.
The girl Rubina, name changed, wife of Mohammad Ashraf of Chaklaas was allegedly gang raped by three youth Mushtaq Ahmed, Manzoor Ahmed both sons of Abdul Majid and Mohd Yousuf son of Lal Din on 8.8.2013.
The complaint in this connection was lodged with the Mahore Police Station but the case was not registered, the reason best known to police. Later, the victim lodged complaint with the Munsif Court at Mahore and accordingly her medical examination was getting done. Based on the medical report, court gave direction to SHO Mahore to lodge FIR and accordingly a case under section 376 RPC was registered.
