Jammu, Sept 14: Lawrence Public School today held a special assembly celebrates mark Hindi Diwas at Sidhra. Students from Panjtirthi and Sidhra branch participated on this occasion. Prof NR Bhardwaj attended occasionas special invitee. During the program, students highlighted the importance of the national language in the contemporary society by means of various intercative sessions followed by a speech on the significance of Hindi Diwas and a small skit 'Maatraon ki Ladai' by the students. Academics Coordinator, Meenakshi Jamwal and Senior Hindi Teacher Rakhi Chauhan encouraged students to evolve good and effective speaking skills. The chief guest appreciated students and their creativity. He said, "Hindi is our mother tongue. It is a scientific language. In our strive for new horizons of knowledge and learning new languages, we should not forget our mother tongue". |
