| NC-Congress alliance disaster for national security: Bhim Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: National Panthers Party supremo, Prof Bhim Singh has accused National Conference-Congress government in J&K for turning the state into den of communalism, corruption and lawlessness. He urged the Governor N N Vohra to act fast to save the State from further death and destruction 'because of the non-governance of the government.' Prof Singh alleged that Congress and NC were fighting only to grab power and rob the state exchequer. In a special communication to the Panthers Legislature Party, Prof Singh hoped that the legislature party under the leadership of Harsh Dev Singh shall oppose, expose in order to depose the present corrupt and inefficient government in the state. He charged the Omar government for importing terrorists holding Pakistani passports via Nepal which is a matter of record. He also expressed surprise that the 'government of India is sitting silent on the grave situation rather abetting the Omar Government to import terrorists holding Pakistani passports into J&K via Nepal.' The NPP chief reminded the countrymen that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had confessed on the floors of the Assembly on May 11, 2013 that 241 Pakistani terrorists have entered J&K via Nepal who were provided identity cards by the state government. He claimed that the 'so-called' surrender and rehabilitation policy framed in 2004 was completely reversed by Omar government in 2010 by allowing the terrorists holding Pakistani passports to enter J&K via Nepal. Prof Singh demanded a case to be registered against the Chief Minister for 'abetting the terrorists to enter India.' He reminded Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh that Jawaharlal Nehru a great friend of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah had to put Sheikh Abdullah in prison in 1953 after dismissing him from premiership of J&K. "Dr. Manmohan has no reason to defend Omar only because he is patronize by some Congress leaders in Delhi. Nation is more important than the interest of an individual. This was the message of Nehru to Sheikh Abdullah," he said. Prof Singh appealed to nationalists, secular and democratic parties in legislature in J&K to join hands with the Panthers Legislature Party inside the Assembly on September 30 when the State Assembly shall meet. |
