JAMMU, Sept 19: A woman Special police officer (SPO) has leveled allegation of sexual exploitation by a DSP headquarters (presently SP) in the year 2003-04 for providing her a permanent job in the police department.
She said that she had a four month baby from illegal relations which was aborted and to get rid from me I was introduced to one Mohammad Yunus Khan r/o Uri , PSO of the DSP and since then I am living with him without any legal /court marriage and we have three children.
"After about one month, I came to know that Mohd Yunus is not a Muslim he is but Rajinder Kumar s/o Baldev Singh resident of Dalhori in Rajouri district" said woman SPO.
She further added that to save our relations and as suggested by Rajinder Singh constable, presently posted in Poonch district, we solemnized marriage before the Photo of 'Mata Vaishno Devi' and I adopted Hindu religion and become Jayoti Devi.
Naseem Akhter alias Jayoti Devi presently posted as SPO at Dharamshal police station have three children from Rajinder Singh namely Arjun Singh of 6yrs, Tamana Singh of 4 yrs and Sajjan Singh of 2yrs.
She alleged that She was introduced to DSP KS Jasrotia, the then DSP, HQ by another woman SPO Naseem Akhter who later sexually exploited her for about a year.
"She had leveled the same allegations in the year 2006 and during investigation by a Muslim additional DC all the allegations were found baseless. Presently she had some dispute with her husband who had left her about few months ago and to settle the scores with him (Rajinder ) she was exploited by some vested interests to involve me again " said SP, Jasrotia.
May 2013 she approached the woman cell and lodged a complaint against Rajinder Singh for domestic violence and alleged that he has stooped financial help for the welfare of the children.
Choudhary Lal Hussain in-charge woman cell when contacted, said that they have received a complaint from the SPO against her husband Rajinder Singh which was registered on May 20.
She reportedly also approached the senior police officers at Rajouri for the transfer of Rajinder Kumar to Rajouri district from Poonch so that he can help her financially for the welfare of their children as she can't afford their expenses from her salary.
According to advocate Junaid, the court today ordered Rajinder kumar to pay Rs 4000 per month as maintenance charges to Jayoti Devi @ Naseem Akhter.
He further said that his client (SPO) never told him about sexual exploitation by DSP HQ. |
