| 3 more arrested, SIT summons Govt employees for questioning | | Kishtwar Violence | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar, Sept 19: Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing August 9 Kishtwar violence arrested three more persons in connection with their alleged involvements in Kishtwar riots. With the arrest of three more persons, SIT has so far arrested over 50 persons in various cases registered at police station Kishtwar and Padder for loot and arson on August 9 and 10. All the three accused were produced before the Principal and District Session Judge Kishtwar who sent all the three accused to police custody till 25th 0f September 2013. Meanwhile sources informed "Early Times" that SIT approached the District Administration Kishtwar for summoning the government employees for questioning whose name emerged during the investigation over their alleged involvement in rioting. The sources added that District administration acting on the request of the SIT served a written order to these government employees ordering them to appear before the SIT for questioning. Police has also produced the challan in connection with burning of a vehicle and loot of wireless sets at Shalimar Kishtwar. It is pertinent to mention that Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar has so far rejected nearly half dozen bail applications moved by the counsels of the accused persons presently in police or judicial custody.
