Court grants 7-day remand of Dir, Secy Rotary Inner Wheels

Jammu, Sept 19: Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu Balbir Lal Jaswal Thursday granted seven days police remand of Girdhari Lal Koul of Trikuta Nagar Jammu (Director) and Rajinder Kapoor of Channi Himmat in much publicized sexual exploitation of mentally challenged girls at Rotary Inner Wheels.
Sub Inspector Manoj Kumar Incharge PP Narwal, member SIT brought the accused Girdhari Lal and Rajinder for police remand. The Court perused the case diary which revealed that the accused have been arrested in case FIR NO 183/2013 u/s 376-C/109/201/315 RPC. "The ground enumerated in the application for remand are well founded accordingly accused are remanded to police custody for a period of seven days from today with the direction to Investigating Officer to get the medical examination of the accused after every 24 hours," the Court ordered. Meanwhile Jaswal also granted 15 days judicial remand of Angad Kumar Chowkidar Rotary Inner Wheel Home and Surjeet Kumar ex-chowkidar who have been booked in FIR no 183/2013 u/s 376-C/109/201/315 RPC.
