Jammu, Sept 19: A meeting of the members of Duggar Vikas Manch was held today to finalize the arrangements regarding the function for the 118th Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, which is being organized every year by the forum.
It was decided in the meeting that the function shall be organized to pay tribute to Late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji by Duggar Vikas Manch on his birth anniversary at his statue site at Tawi Bridge, near Press Club of Jammu on 22ndSeptember 2013.
The presidents of all the prominent sabhas and social organizations of the state shall assemble on this occasion to pay homage to the Lt. Maharaja on this occasion.
A hawan yagya shall be performed in the start of the program to pay homage to Maharaja on the occasion and Purn Ahuti shall be given at 10-00 a.m.
Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Chaman Lal Gupta, MLA & former Union Minister of State, Ashok Khajuria, MLA, J&K State, Harsh Dev Singh, MLA & former Minister for J&K State & Ashwani Sharma, MLA, J&K State have consented to participate on this occasion.
It is also pertinent to mention here that the local administration has assured full co-operation, especially regarding the parking of the vehicles on this occasion, as last year, the guests had a lot of inconvenience as they were not allowed to park their vehicles near the function site.
