KATHUA, Sept 19: To improve the production of cereal crops particularly paddy and wheat, a farmers camp was organized by Agriculture Department at Kokhyal under National Food Security Mission.
It was attended by more than 100 farmers.
Neeraj Sharma, SMS horticulture from KVK Kathua also attended the camp and advised farmers about proper cultivation of vegetables.
Surishta Andotra, SMS Dayalachak, made aware the farmers about the use of pests on paddy. Sanjeev Rai, Agriculture Extension Officer Kathua organized the camp and asked the farmers to visit Agriculture office in case of any problem and aware them about sowing of wheat in coming rabi season.
Sarpanch of Kokhyal village Ravinder Kumar praised the working of agriculture deptt and particularly thanked and appreciated the working of Sanjeev Rai. the farmers who attended the camp. |
