Jammu, Sept 19: A batch of 30 aspiring entrepreneurs completed their skill development training program at district Samba through Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute. The training was conducted at KIMT college, Samba. The main aim of the training is to imbibe entrepreneurial skills among youth with stress on business leadership and self development. A part of the training is sector specific, in which aspiring entrepreneurs interact with experts and successful entrepreneurs. "We need to create economically viable business opportunities for the youth in the state considering the availability of jobs in the state. This is being done by the way of providing training and finances to the aspiring entrepreneurs so that they can set-up their own enterprises", said Irtif Lone, district officer, JKEDI Samba. JKEDI is providing various schemes such as Seed Capital fund Scheme in which 35% of the total project is provided JKEDI. In Youth start up scheme soft loans are provided to youth at a simple interest of 6%. |
