Jammu, Oct 1: Young Panthers organized a memorial service at Jammu to pay tributes to the martyrs of twin terror attack on September 26, in Samba and Hiranagar. Lighting candles the young Panthers activists prayed for the peace of departed souls and extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Led by Pushvinder Manhas, Sr State Vice-President, Young Panthers, accompanied with Vikram Chib, Farhan Malik, Amit Sharma, Gulchain, Sahil, Vikram Billa and others, the activists gathered at Shaheedi Sthal, outside GGM Science College, Jammu and paid their tributes to the martyrs of twin terror attack of September 26. They also observed two minutes silence to pray for the peace and serenity to late departed souls. Terming the terror attack tragic and cowardice act, Pushvinder Singh said that the security at International Borders and Line of Control (LoC) should be tightened so that infiltrators could not infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir and commit such heinous acts in future. Singh lambasted the state as well as central govt for the lapses in the security due to which such incidents take place. Speakers appealed the Prime Minister of India to deal Pakistan with Iron hands and give befitting reply to Pakistan so that no one dares to attack India proxy or direct. |
